This is my mail sorting AppleScript for Eudora 1.5.1 (and above?).
To set up the sorts, read the Sorting_Instructions file.
The Sorting_Instructions file must reside in the same folder as DPW, but other than that, they should be able to go anywhere.
Run the script and sorting should be active in Eudora.
If, for some reason, you choose to disable DPW, you can use the 'Stop Notifying' script available at <ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com/quest/eudora/mac/scripts/notify-kit.hqx>.
Make sure DPW isn't running and drag it onto the 'Stop Notifying' script icon.
If, by chance, you've already deleted DPW, this hack _should_ work:
Copy any existing script (the 'Notice Test' script that comes with the notify-kit will do) and rename it "Disgruntled Postal Worker" and drag _it_ onto 'Stop Notifying'.
You must use a regular script (with creator 'aplt') and not a droplet script like 'Stop Notifying' (which has creater 'dplt').
If this doesn't work, you'll probably have to trash your 'Eudora Settings' file (sorry about that, if it comes to this). I can find no way to determine what applications that Eudora is notifying and thereby tell it to stop.
